The origins of Fixeau
Fixeau originated from a research project in which we worked with farmers on better water management. We started with an innovative and participatory project in which we gathered practical knowledge and investigated together with farmers how smart technology can contribute to water management at plot level.

Own reliable sensors
Based on these insights, we developed our own reliable sensor technology, specifically tailored to practice. After successful field tests, Fixeau grew into a fully-fledged platform, with which farmers gain real-time insight into their plot data and can make well-founded decisions.
Hydrological knowledge
At Fixeau, we combine in-depth hydrological knowledge, years of practical experience and innovative technology. Our sensors and models are developed based on practical experiences and needs of farmers. Through our close collaboration with farmers and experts, we continue to develop our technology and expand it to new regions.
Our future
In 2024, we opened our office on Wageningen Campus, a step that brings us closer to the latest developments and collaborations. In 2025, we will continue our mission by launching new products and further refining our smart analyses and predictions.
