New in development: Soil subsidence sensor for rural areas

At Fixeau we are working on an affordable and accessible sensor to make soil subsidence data transparent for farmers and other users. Our goal is to gain insight into the extent and speed of soil subsidence by performing accurate and high-frequency measurements with the Fixeau LevelPin.

The LevelPin allows for better decisions to be made about the right measures to limit the risks of soil subsidence. We are also working on the relationship with other types of measurements such as groundwater level and soil moisture (and salinity where relevant) with which we collect factual data about soil subsidence at plot level and on a regional scale and can better manage possible measures. Together with partners we are building smart solutions that are action-oriented.
